Spending a couple days in NYC with my momma before making our way to Ridgewood for a shower my {soon to be} mother in law is throwing for me.
Things I am excited for: staying with Eloise + seeing Matilda + visiting The Lovely Bride + getting a blow out at Dry Bar… and of course lots of eating.

My aunt brought over my grandmother’s Bride’s Book of Plans yesterday & I loved flipping through it last night!
This book has everything from the bridesmaids outfits & headpieces to wedding gifts to the guest list to the meal in detail. Such a cool thing to have from such an important time my grandmother’s life.
In other wedding news, some unrelated things as my mind is a little all over the place right now…
Isn’t this nail color pretty? Thinking I may have to get this {or something very similar} for the big day. It is part of Dallas Shaw’s new nail polish line with Bondi New York. It comes out in June!
…and a sign I found at Marshalls on Sunday for $7.99. Cute, right!? Thinking it will be great addition to a future bathroom or even kitchen.
After all is said and done weddings are all about love

Pistachio is always my go to.
I had never been to Findlay Market but can’t wait to go back for the most amazing selection of EVERYTHING. meats, cheeses, pastas, vegetables, sweets… you name it, they had it.

Friday night we had moonlight beers. What’s a moonlight beer you ask? WELL, it’s half of a Coors Light {or Bud Light, Miller Lite} & half of a Blue Moon. It tastes divine.

When I first started following blogs, these three were among the first I read. Now they are some of the only ones I consistently follow. Besides blogs of people you actually know {because, in my opinion, it’s most interesting when you know the person} these are my favorites.
I like them for very different reasons. They are also all located in 3 different cities – NYC, Chicago & San Francisco.
First of all, Kat is absolutely gorgeous… & she couldn’t be sweeter {not that I know her}. Even though I don’t “know” her, she has helped me find cute places to eat in NYC over Twitter & seems like a very genuine person.

Things That Sparkle is a lifestyle blog – Alex blogs about everything from fashion to weddings to interior design. I love her advice on interior design & how she incorporates her business Alexandra Kaehler Designs into her posts. Below is her bedroom that she recently shared.

Pretty sure this one is my absolute favorite. I have a girl crush on Caitlin of Daily Cup of Couture. She is just so cute. We got together with friends last night for my brother’s birthday & I must say I could eat just the cheese plate for dinner.
Here’s what we had goin’ on. Colby Jack, Jarlsberg Swiss, Sharp Cheddar and Garlic & Fine Herbs Boursin. ummm, YES.

My favorite time of day. Cocktail hour. Some of my inspiration for our wedding cocktail party. I can’t {won’t} show exactly what we are doing because what’s the fun in that? 
…and this won’t be happening but isn’t it awesome? A boat full of beer & wine.
The wedding inspiration out there can be overwhelming because there are SO many adorable ideas. You’ve definitely got to hone in on what you want your wedding to “feel” like. Let’s be real, our wedding is going to have a little {okay, maybe more than a little} pink. Sorry, Richard.
